I'm Late I'm Late I'm Late... (in my Alice in Wonderland Rabbit voice)

Okay so who else here loved Alice in Wonderland as a child? I totally feel like that little rabbit---  like my brain is running around in my head shouting "I'm late, late, late!!!". Ahhh!!! Well I am finally linking up with Flying into First Grade for Let's Get Aquainted Linky and very LATE LATE LATE! I missed a few of her past link-ups... Sorry. I hate missing out and getting behind on my blogging. To all my bloggy best buds I apologize in advance. I feel like the worst bloggy pal since I haven't been reading up on y'alls blogs and commenting like usual. I still LOVE yall! :) Man being outta town for a whole 18 days is kicking my  bloggy butt. I'm heading to Destin, FL. for a bachelorette trip tomorrow so I will be MIA even more than I already am for 4 days.

 

 

What three things would you have to have with you if you were standed on an island?

 

Man oh man... only 3?! Ahh.. I have trouble packing for over night trips much less stranded on an island with only 3 things. Hmmm...

 

1. I would HAVE to have my hubs there with me to keep me from going crazy and to take care of me.

2. A cell phone or laptop with internet connection so I can keep in contact with others.

3. Clothes (shoes included)

 

I figured I could probably find ways to get food and water from the island via bananas, coconuts, & rain water. LOL

What would you have to have with you if you were stranded on an island?

With all these pirate, ocean, and beach themed items I've been making recently can you tell my favorite unit is the Ocean unit? I also love teaching the Jungle Unit. What are your two favorite units to teach? 

Also, what are your kiddos struggling with this time of year? Mine are usually struggling with understanding decomposing and adding or substituting individual sounds in simple, one syllable words to make new words.

Happy Easter y'all! I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend and stuffed their bellies. I know I ate way to much. I got in bed at 7 tonight just to sit in peace and quiet. I love getting together with family and grubbing on lots of delicious food but man oh man is it ever noisy. I think it was just a bit too much for me because I have a sore mouth. I don't know what's wrong with my mouth though I am thinking it's some sort of ulcer between my cheek and gums but it HURTS! I guess with that and the noise my head started pounding and I wasn't my usual loud, out spoken, blunt self this weekend. I hope it gets better before I head off to Mississippi Tuesday. I can not wait to see all my family & friends!!! I have a lot of packing to do tomorrow but I feel like I have nothing to wear. I am in desperate need of  more big girl clothes. LOL. That or I shrunk all my clothes because I feel like everything is too short when going through my summer clothes. As my hubs told me "I'm not 21 years old anymore so I don't need to dress like a 21 year old anymore."

 

FONTS FONTS FONTS! This has nothing to do with the Currently or I guess you can add it to my wants. I have been in search for fonts. I have been seeing such cute fonts every where. like the font used on the Spring Cleaning button where it looks like the letters are glowing. I want must have them! Where do I find them? Do you know? I've been looking everywhere and not luck so far :(

 

Ideas for Organizing Needed---- I know I'm not the only one with tons and tons of ideas in their head of things they want to make for teaching products that just pop up & are in head for a split second, all this usually happens while I am trying to sleep. How do you organize all your wonderful ideas? Do you keep a notebook? I tried keeping a notebook but I feel like by the time I grab my pen my ideas vanish.
