Christmas Swag for School Door

This is school-related I swear... Ha ha... No really it is. I made Holiday Swag for the prinicipal & vice principal at the school I am volunteering at. Had to share because I really enjoy making these.. seriously. I've been getting more crafty lately. To check out the vice principal's swag check out my Southern Hospitality blog. Every Christmas I would always decorate my classroom, especially my doorway. Do you decor your door for the Holidays?

This also reminds me how much I am going to miss out on ALL the wonderful gifts I have always gotten from my students each Christmas. The parents at Bayou View Elementary always out did themselves with giving teachers some of the best gifts ever... and I seriously mean the best!!! I always had to make at least 2 trips & the gifts were a variety of delights--- candy, flowers, pottery, gift cards, yummy smelling candles, stuffed animals, home-made picture frames, jewelry, wine glasses, drawings of course! (a favorite of mine) , etc.. Last year I was actually given cash.. Waawhooo!!!  What type of gifts do you get from some of your students for Christmas?
