Currently & Freebie

I am of course linking up with the fabulous Farley at Oh Boy 4th Grade for the March Currently.

Okay, Okay so I know I have probably mentioned me moving to Canada and me transitioning to being in such a different place like a 100 times but I promise this is really super exciting. Next Saturday me & the hubs are driving to the Canadian border to finalize my Canadian permanent residency and importing my car!!! It's been crazy busy trying to figure out all the paperwork and everything. I also submitted my application to the Alberta Education Department yesterday! Another big yay :) Things are coming together so far. And guess what I just found out... A 1st grade teacher retired & left at the school that I volunteer and want to work at. Hmmm... Wouldn't it be great it they hired me for that position next year?! Not sure if that's possible though since they have a cerified teacher in the position now to fill the spot for the remaining school year as a permanent sub. Maybe they won't keep him around for next year or at least move him into a different grade. It's just wishful thinking I guess.

Have you gotten this freebie yet? Get it here or here.

  2. Good luck! It sounds like an exciting new adventure for you.

When I started teaching, I left KS for TX. It was like going to a whole other country.

    1. Yep, good ole Alberta, Canada. According to some of the people I have talked to I was told that it is one of the coldest provinces in Canada.. Oh joy! Did I mention I am not a fan of cold weather. ha.. I hope you get the job you applied for as well.

    1. That's usually what I do too Jessica. I actually did completely opposite of what I thought I was going to do. I usually go to a dark blonde but instead went light brownish and cut myself some bangs! Ahh! My mom just told me to go for it so I did. Thanks for stopping by!
