Holy Linkies...

I am Currently link'n up with Farley for the February Currently.
Now to the 2nd linky of the night... I am also link'n up with Growing Firsties and Teacher to the Core for the Feb. Shout Out Linky.
I am giving a shout out to Irene at Learning with Mrs. Leeby. She is a fellow kindergarten teacher. I just love kindergarten! She always has great ideas, products, giveaways, and is a part of many giveaways. She also has a Facebook Page you have to check out!

My 2nd shout out is to Jessica at Literacy Spark. She is new to the blogging world and has some pretty good freebies on her blog. She is a southern gal from Texas, which makes me jealous right now thinking about how much I miss the warm weather. Sorry can you tell I am finally getting tired of the cold & snow... ha ha... Check out Literacy Spark! I found her via Linking Up with Love linky.

Last but not least I am link'n up with Doodle Bugs Teaching for Five for Friday Linky part-tay!

1. I had my first giveaway for having 100 followers! Can you talk about excited... Super excited about having a giveaway and even more excited about making it to 100 followers. This has been a great week for me in the blogging world :) If you didn't check out the Lovely Giveaway you have 1 more day to check it out so STOP BY!!!

 2. Khrys at Keepin It Kool In Kinder had a Super Linky if you want to see who all is having a Super Sale this weekend. You can check out my products in my TPT Store where all items are 10% off and my TN Shop where all items are 25% off.

I also finished the kindergarten curriculum standards I Can posters & checklist for Alberta, Canada.

3. I was able to be apart of Khrys' grand giveaway at Keepin It Kool In Kinder. That was pretty neat!

4. Tuesday Crafternoon--- My sweet sister in law, Christine had a Valentine crafternoon this past Tuesday where a few of us gals got together to make some Valentine crafts. I made a paper chain heart because it was super easy. The choices were paper chain heart, heart arrows,  and/or ABC valentine. All of them are super cute! Unfortunately we don't have a fireplace mantel to hang it from, but the kitchen counter bar area will do just fine for now. Christine actually has a pretty sweet blog herself if you ever need decor ideas or just like to look at pretty things @ Just Bella.

5. Our Dogs Pups--- It's never fun when anyone is sick. That goes for our sweet, spoiled pups as well. Well there aren't actually pups any more but pups sounds much more cuddly than dogs don't ya think? Our poor Boozer was sick this Thursday. It's a bum problem that actually started back in the fall but we thought it was getting better. He felt so bad that he began his Thursday early morning puking. I felt so bad bc he just seemed miserable and wasn't his usual "suck up to mom self". So that of course called for a trip to the vet. I'm not going to go into detail but let's just say it's not all dandy having the dog bum smell stuck in your nose for hours after leaving the vet. Yuck! But the good news is Boozer got some medicine and will hopefully get to feeling better soon.

My January Shout Out

I am giving a "Shout Out" to A Year of Many Firsts for being so inspirational. I love her soon-to-come "The Book Nook" idea, where she will feature a picture book each week with great ideas and skills students can incorporate with the picture books. I am looking forward to seeing this weekly post! Her Fun & Frosty L.A. and Math Activities looks great and looks like the students will love it too. Who wouldn't enjoy learning math with marsh mellows and enjoying a tasty treat. YUM! Thanks Lyndsey for sharing all your fabulous ideas and TPT items.

I am also giving a "Shout Out" to Keepin It Kool In Kinderland. I love how Khrys describes herself as a glue-sniffing, jacket zipping, nose blowing, crayon drawing kindergarten teacher. I think that is a perfect description of kindergarten teachers, along with shoe-typing & constantly saying "go get a kleenex, go wash your hands".  Ha ha ha... This great & upcoming blogger began blogging 9/22/12 & you can get to know her a little more here. Thanks for sharing Khrys!

Want to be apart of this monthly Shout Out.... Check out my next post below to see how.

Shout Out Linky... More to Follow

Who inspires you? What great teaching ideas & skills are you picking up from the wonderful blogging community and/or the world of Pinterest?

Check out Growing Firsties and Teacher to the Core for a Shout Out Linky.

This Linky Party has 3 components:

1. Link a post where you have given two shout outs to two bloggers that have inspired you. One blogger with fewer followers and one with more followers than you. This seems obvious, but please make sure you give links to those inspiring posts/blogs so others can be inspired, too!

2. Please let the two bloggers you are shouting out know that you're doing so. Leave a comment on their blog - maybe on the post that inspired you or on their post dated closest to when you link up. They'll most likely want to know what it was that inspired you to give them a shout out. :)

3. We love Farley's "Rule of Three" which means that once you link up, please comment on the posts of the two previous bloggers that linked. Then, come back later and comment on the post of the blogger after your link.

Go back each month and link up!

I'll be back tomorrow to list my blogging inspirations... sorry, no time tonight. It's bedtime.
