It's Tuesday! That means it's time to link up with Blog Hoppin' again for the Teacher Week linky
par-tay.
It's technically still Monday here for me though will be Tuesday in an hour. I really need to be getting to bed since me & the hubs have to get up in less than 4 hours to head to the airport. We are headed to Laredo, TX for the week.
WARNING: My classroom is no where near done or at least I am hoping not. I like bright, bold & beautiful. This room is still too plain Jane for me. Here's a small look at what is going on so far.
Entering my classroom you will find a bright blue welcome burlap door décor & a "Where Are We?" sign.
I chose an ocean theme for my classroom year since I am now so far away from the Gulf and the beach.
I created The Reading Coral Reef area to take place of my Palm Word Tree I had in my classroom last year. The All About Me spot is for the Star of the Week poster.
There is still so- much more I would like to do and plan to do. School doesn't start until September 4th and teachers don't technically go back until August 28th. I just snuck in the classroom to start on a few things and that's all I got done in the last 2 days. I'll post more photos again once I get done with the finished product. Like I said before, I put up a lot of this without talking with the other teacher who I'll sharing the room with so once I talk to her about decorating I'll get more pretty & bright things up on the wall. :)
Here are some photos of my last 2 classrooms so you can see how bright I normally like my class set-up. These 1st 3 photos are my kindergarten classroom from my 2nd year in kinder. I loved how BIG this classroom was.
These next 3 photos are from my 1st classroom in kindergarten. I loved how I decorated this room but hated how small the room was.
You can also click HERE to check out 2 wonderful classrooms from my last school that I just loved & were totally my style. One of the classrooms was a fellow kindergarten teacher and the other was our counselor's room.
Here's a sneak peak.
I love all of your bright colours!
