Fall is ever so present here in Alberta, Canada. All the trees are beautiful and bright reds, oranges and yellows. Unfortunately it is already getting too cold for me.
My kiddos are loving their Fall sight word reader which you can find in my previous post. I know they are going to enjoy their Halloween sight word reader as well. It is giving them the confidence of being independent readers.

Last week the kiddos enjoying learning about the letter Mm and all about a farm. They painted a corn stalk, painted a farm field and glued grain on to their farm, made butter for their biscuits and milked our class cow.
Students cut and pasted pictures with the sound of /x/ onto their scarecrow fall sort.
You can grab the /x/ fall sort here.
